A relief cut-out of the facade of Glasgow’s historic venue, the ABC on Sauchiehall Street. The building, most recently a concert venue and club, has also been a cinema, circus, ice-rink and dancehall! Most of the building was destroyed by fire in June 2018, though the facade currently remains. This limited edition artwork celebrates this venue enjoyed by many generations of Glaswegians.
The artwork is made by 8 hand-cut layers of card, stacked to create this intricate relief image of the building. The piece comes in a frame, measuring 28 x 28cm and ready to hang, and this is a limited run of 10 editions.
